Charger Gets Very Hot

Charger seems very hot to the touch. Is this normal?

The newer chargers, the small ones that are about half the size of the ones we have seen for years, actually do get pretty hot.

Just to confirm yes the new chargers do get hot and yes that is normal.

Thanks Everybody for your replys. The charger worked fine so I guest getting hot is OK.
