Default Converting a 1990 from 36 to 48 volt Issues

The reason I ask this question is my car has v glides and 6 - 8 volt batteries now, ( 48 volts ) it has been this way for 6 years. Are there any long term affects I need to be concerned with ?

Many 48v CC used a multistep v glide without problems, are you having a problem?

No problems as of yet. The resistors do get hot though. What kind motor temps should I expect being it is a 36 volt motor with a 48 volt system ? I do understand the higher the voltage the lower the amperage.
