Re: Charged with key on
I never turn my key off. Been charging that way for years.........
Go through all the usual checks like the fuse on the charger port, plug the charger back in and see if it comes on, check voltage, etc. Something is amiss......... |

Re: Charged with key on
I checked the battery fuse, looked like had not broken or burned. I have the Altrex 400 amp laminated fuse on the positive battery terminal, but I can't tell if that is burned out or not. Are there any other fuses located with an ALtrex controller and relay?

Re: Charged with key on
I can't directly answer your question but you should be checking these problems with a volt meter. If you don't have one you should get one.........Napa, O'Reilly, Pep Boys, hell probably even Wal Mart has them!

Is the LED light on the controller coming on and staying green?

Re: Charged with key on
Unfortunatly my cart is at my cabin in northern Minnesota. I rigged it for deer. I will check this weekend to see if the power is getting to the controller, I am just not sure where there might be other fuses with the altrex or anything else. Are there more than 2 fuses in this cart?

Re: Charged with key on
The fuse is supposed to be on the negative battery terminal, at least that is what the directions from Altrax state. It can also be on B- of controller. Not sure if putting it on the positive terminal would really cause the problems you are having though.
