Default 2008 Precedent added Scottys SOC meter and now no power

Pulled dash, found red and black/yellow wires. Checked Voltage = 49.1. Great this should be a breeze. Wanted to add toggle just to turn meter off if needed. Hooked it all up before cutting the dash. Worked great showing the 49 volts. Unhooked it all and made my cut, hooked it back up and nothing...anywhere. No forward no reverse or reverse buzzer. No clicking like it is trying.....just completely dead. Nothing arced during any of this. I also lost the 49 volts on the two wires behind the dash I was using. I am totally lost on this. What could I have done? I tried the OBC reset. Did not get the reverse buzzer or anything. The only thing I did not do that I should have was switch it to tow before starting. Being uneducated, I was not aware I needed to. But man this was two wires hooked up with a switch. It is almost like something tripped somewhere. Batteries have 49volts and when i plug in the charger it comes on. I am going to check it in a bit to see if it cuts off also. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Not so simple after all...

Just went and checked the charger...= about 56.5 volts and still charging. I think the cutoff is 58.6v. I wired the SOC meter direct to the batteries and it works fine there. While I was down stairs I heard the cart beep. Any idea what this means. Wow...I was just looking to buy a cart to knock around and have some fun on and now I am concerned that this is a very complicated and possibly expensive toy.

it is in run. I wish that was the problem. Thanks....The things is just DOA....No click from solenoids. All I here when I press the GO pedal is the clicking in the assembly itself. I don't know enough about the power management on these things to know where to begin.

Pull the dash off again and check to make sure the 9-pin connector didn't get unplugged. Also, there is a blade fuse in the wire harness near the controller that you may have popped for whatever reason. See if it's blown.

TahoeDawg Could you point me in the direction of that fuse? I looked yesterday, but did not see it. I did not know what I was looking for though. Thanks guys. Great forum.

i suspect you may have unplugged something when you took dash out, 1 question other then putting it in tow did you take off your main pos and neg cables? i ask because i don,t trust the run tow switch as far as i can throw them......but i would 1st look for an unplugged connector in dash............................

I have checked and rechecked the dash. Maybe if I try to get a picture that might help. Thanks.

I have two white harnesses in the dash. One is plugged in and the other is not. I can't find anything to plug the other white harness to.

Found the culprit....Thanks to TahoeDawg I got underneath and searched out the 15 amp fuse and it was blown. Replaced it and power is back. Thanks for all the help...

This is a new one to me, can you post a pic of the fuse placement? Thank you in advance.
