91 CC Takes Off In Reverse

Tonight when I put my 36V cart into reverse it took off. Foot no where near throttle. Done is several times. Would not happed every time and only in revers. Would the controller cause this?

Not the controller. Possibly the throttle pedal is partially depressed, microswitch sticking or combination of both.

It's doubtful. The standard controler just knows current in & current out. The F/R is where the difference comes from. I would check for a bad micro switch on the reverse side.

Thanks guys. So the micro switches would cause the cart to take off in reverse at full throttle?

Would if the switch and throtle are both stuck. Does it do the same if put in forward?

No it doesn't do it in forward. Replaced the micro switch and seems to have fixed the problem. Thanks for the help guys.
