Camber adjustment.....
I just had 12x7 wheels put on my 2007 club car precedent. Standing in front of the cart the drivers side tire is leaned in at the top. The other side is ok. Does anyone know how to adjust this? I read up and is this negative camber?? Oh, and it's not lifted, just regular golf playing cart.

Re: Camber adjustment.....
Put the cart on jack stands, look under the front spring. In the center there is a large nut with a smaller nut in the middle of it. Loosen the large nut, and turn the center nut to adjust the camber. Just so you know what is going on, the smaller nut is off center and the larger nut is set in an oblong hole....so when you turn it, it "wobbles" around to adjust the camber...pretty neat setup.
After you find your desired camber, tighten the large nut. Hope that made sense....its easier than I described. |

Re: Camber adjustment.....
Thanks. I am not the most mechanically inclined person other than basic stuff. I will try this and see if I can get it to work. I will let ya know. Thanks again!

Re: Camber adjustment.....
I looked under the cart and I can't find where your talking about. I just saw the tie rods and the shock boot leading back to the middle. Did not see where u described. A buddy of mine said it looked like I could just loosen the jam nut and turn the tie rod to fix it. Is that a possibility??

Re: Camber adjustment.....
I put the cart on stands and took off the front light assembly. The only large nut I saw was a big jam nut. I took it off and turned the one inside of it. It popped out and a small spring came out so I am not sure that was the right one. I put it back together. Do u have a pic of which nut it is??

Re: Camber adjustment.....
Is your cart lifted? An All-Sports lift kit eliminates the camber adjustment you're referring to and utilizes a much better design of their own.

Re: Camber adjustment.....
No, it's not lifted. Just have 12 x 7 wheels and low profile tires.

Re: Camber adjustment.....
Only the passenger side is leaned in from the top out to the bottom. Drivers side is cool.
