Default Club Car - Head Light Amp Pull

I am installing a dual amp stereo system in my 05 Club Car and need to know the amps the headlights and tailights typically pull. I have a 48 to 12 V converter that supplys 12 - 13V and 25 amps. The amps will pull about 20 amps and I don't want to take a chance of frying my converter. Thanks

Amp draw of lights depends on wattage of bulbs . . . a 55 watt bulb at 12v draws about 4.5 amps . . .

Amps=Wattage divided by voltage for DC applications

You can save on the amperage draw by changing all your bulbs to LED bulbs.

Thanks!!!!! Do you know anyone that makes a 12V to 12V trickle Charger? Thinking of adding a mini 12V battery for just the stereo system and would like to charge it off the 12V coming from the reducer.

Went to the site and there is a ton of bulbs. Does anyone have a chart or conversion table that can help you choose the bulbs you need?

Call them and tell them what bulbs you have and they will help you.
