Default Difference in batteries?

Hi

I noticed several southern dealers included Trojan-1275's with the claim to
go up to 30 miles.

I thought the Trojan 875's or 890's were the best or am l missing something.

Again sorry for all of these newbie questions.

Thanks

Alan

Forgot to mention that l am looking to buy a 48v

Hi

The above cart with the T-1275's is an Ezgo 2009 model.

Trojan T-875 and 890's are both 8v batteries and t-1275 are 12v batteries...are you asking if its better to have 6 8volts or 4 12volts?

The lower the voltage the more amperage a battery will store. Your cart runs on amperage not voltage...example = longer run times on 8/6v than 6/8v. Hope this helps.

There are amperage capacity differences between brands
A 6v battery may have 225 amp hours or 180
Ask your dealer for the specs and age of the batteries in the cart you are considering.
After all, it is cheaper to buy a controller or motor than batteries!
