2005 Club Car Precedent will not go

I have a 2005 Club Car Precedent that my family uses daily in our neighborhood. It's been running perfectly and we even took it out tonight for about 15 minutes. When we came back home for about 30 minutse we were about to go back out on it and it clicked and started to move and then just stopped and would not go forward or in reverse. I immediately smelled a rotten egg type of smell when this all happened. I rolled it back to the garage and connected the charger and I hear the charger click on but it battery humms and is barely past 0 amps.

It definitely seems like it is the batteries however they have been holding up well and we have not had any problems with it. We know we are close to needing to replace the batteries however before I go spend the money on them I want to verify that this is my issue.

My battery charge levels are 12.5, 12.5, 12.8 and wait for it....10.0 (this one moved around between 9.1 and 10 and if I had to guess this is my main problem. The total voltage accross the pack right now without aload was between 46 and 48 and with a load was half of that. It's just strange that it came out of no where as we use this cart anywhere from 20 minutes to a couple of hours per day.

Yup, that one battery will cause your issue. Sounds like it just failed quicly..

It's an internal battery short. Fairly common.
