2002 48 volt club car speed/power problem
Any ideas on what would cause my 2002 48 volt club car with regean system to act up. I have to depress the go peddle at least 1/2 way down to get it to move, & it takes off very quickly, moves nicely for about 5 minutes then slows down to almost a crawl even with the go peddle firmly pressed to the floor. It started doing this last summer & I put all new batteries in it along with the battery cables and nuts, and followed proper procedure for charging up new batteries as stated on here. I thought it might be the..Solinoid...so I took it off and asked my local cart sales to sell me one. He said he could gaurantee it isn't that becuase if it was bad it wouldn't move at all. Wants me to bring it in and let his mechanics diagnose the problem at $90.00 an Hour I am hestitant to do that in this ecomomy. Could anybody point me toward some other type testing I maybe could do on my own here at home to find the problem. Any help or advice would be greatly appreaciated.

Re: 2002 48 volt club car speed/power problem
Thanks for the web addresses to find the MCOR location and price of it, Erict...I appreciate it. I may have to go ahead and order one of those, I just wish I could test it some way 1st here at home to be sure that's the culprit. I read somewhere the only way to test the regen carts is with the use of a ...club car calibration test module to check the MCOR output...IDK if I can buy one of those testers or not. Does anybody out there know?

Re: 2002 48 volt club car speed/power problem
. . . you can test an MCOR with an ohm meter
