I have a 1997 Club Car that not very fast and real slow going up hills. Thae speed control is a 225 amp. Talking with a person about this said i needed to up to go to a 300 ams speed control which i did and i dot not see any didderence. Whats wrong. Did i just blow $225.00. Help, Please

You do not gain any speed by throwing more amps at the motor. (you may get a little more torque) The only way to get more speed is to add more voltage, gears, larger tires or a higher rpm motor.
