99 CC wiring converter to key switch
Looking for ways to turn off power to converter so it does not draw from batteries constantly. Is there such a thing as a keyed ignition switch that will do this?
Thanks for the help! |

Re: 99 CC wiring converter to key switch
You need to find a reducer that has a switched circuit. Your right to think this is important, not only do they draw power but they can get hot just being on forever.

Re: 99 CC wiring converter to key switch
Do you have a recommendation? We already have it installed and have run extra wires from the box in back up to the key switch. Original plan was to wire to key switch.....now thinking that won't work. Looking for ideas

I used a toggle switch for mine, made sure the switch had a high voltage rating.
