Very clever! Like the use of the app.
I'm a little skeptical of GPS speeds, but a nice clean graph like that shows there was no erroneous reading from a single satellite skip. Which D&D motor are you using? Seems like a terrific result for a stock controller! |

Re: Did a timed run on my Cart tonight. How did it do?
I thought it was pretty good for a stock cart basically. The MPH may be a smidge off but not much. I have GPS'd it before at 28.x with a different device so it is close. Here are the specs of the motor:
D&D Model Cross Ref Peak HP Max Mph Loss of Torque (stock controller) 170-011-0002 6-223A 11.1 24 -15 |

Re: Did a timed run on my Cart tonight. How did it do?
Which controller should I get? I am torn between a few. The GE FSIP 500 or 700 seems like a great buy for the price. Then I have been eyeing an Alltrax SPM-72400 because I eventually want to go 72v (this motor probably won't take that though). Or a rebuilt upgraded factory unit. I have seen up to 600a on a 1204 rebuild for a very reasonable price after core exchange.

Re: Did a timed run on my Cart tonight. How did it do?
After a charge last night the times dropped quite a bit in the 1/8th. The previous runs had about 5 miles on a charged pack so I am going to run again in a bit to verify those fresh charge numbers.

Did a few more runs. It showed a best of 18.28 and a few 18.6 and 18.8 runs. This is coming straight off the charger. Optimum conditions for sure.

Re: Did a timed run on my Cart tonight. How did it do?
That is my elapsed time in the 1/8th mile. I am at 10mph in 1.9x seconds. 0 to 20 is around 5.5 seconds. The 60' time hovers at 4.0x seconds and I'm at 15-16 mph
