Grounding block is very similar to what is used in an AC power distribution panel... like on every house.

This way you eliminate having to land a wire at the main - post for everything you have, like radio, cig lighter, lights, etc

Ok hooked up the converter like was says...red to postive 48 volt side of battery...black to negative side of battery pack then yellow wire hooked to positive side of radio and nothing worked...had to run positive side of radio and yellow wire to positive side of one of the other batteries...it worked that way...question is is that hooked up right now?

The link shows one wiring pigtail which looks like the side that goes to your battery pack. Is there another pigtail that comes out of the controller? Also, you need a ground for all electrical devices and not sure why he said you don't, very strange.

So the radio needs to be grounded somewhere on the cart? Yes there is one pigtaill on it ( i cut it off) where it is just the wires, but no other wire are coming out of it besides red yellow and black.

Ok. The red wire goes to your total pack pos and the black to your total pack neg. The yellow goes to your radio red pos wire and the black neg wire from your radio needs to go to a ground and do not ground to the frame. Maybe wire back to the pack ground on your battery pack.

Here you go. Never ground anything to the frame of your cart. The guy at car toys doesn't know what he is talking about.

Thanks man. So is it correct with the yellow wire and red wire from radio go together and then hook to one of the 12 volt batteries on the positive post?
