Default 48 volt has 6 6 volt what to do

Bought a used 1999 electric. It had 6 6 volts in it that were shot. I assumed 36 volt and bought 6 new. Should I try to sell used and by new 8 volts or is there another way.

welcome to BGW

if your sure it's a 48v cart, see if you can return them, if not, buy to more 6v and put them in the bag well 6 x 8= 48volts plus more run time

Call the dealer ASAP and ask to exchange them .. you will need to pay a little more but that would be the best scenario.

I don't remember. I think he may have just set a bunch of batteries in the car for me to use as exchange. I should have checked it out before buying batteries. I expect that I should try to sell off the 3 month old 6 6 volts and buy 6 8 volts. The car has been running just overcharges and charger heets up.
