2006 club car ds iq
Is it normal for a 2006 club car ds iq to have batteries other than trojan in it?
I'm looking to buy a 2006 club car ds iq tha tcame straight from the golf course and it doesn't have trojans....also it has 4 batteries instead of 6, I've read a couple of posts saying this 4 battery config is somewhat new for the newer carts. Should I be lookiing for a specific brand to be in there? thanks, billy |

Trojans are the stock or factory brand, the golf course may have swaped them out if your buying it from a secondary vendor they may have taken them out and put new ones in. They are 12 volt batteries for a 4 battery configuration so your run time may be shortened if the batteries were weak.

if they are not trojan then I would be concerned about what battery is in there. I think the only other golf car 12v being produced is U.S. Battery. So any other battery may not be strong enough to really run your car right.
