Default New batteries still sluggish

Hello, 98 CC 48v. Started running slow at start off. Ran ok after got up to speed. Batteries were 7 years old so had them replaced with Trojans & got a full charge last night. Cart still is slow starting off but runs good after that. It has always has a good jump when starting off, now it doesn't. Any ideas why

new batteries are only approx75% and it will take 15 or more complete charge cycles to get them to 100% and its very very important to break them in right, when you put charger on leave it alone until it shuts off on its own as they break in you,ll notice a difference beleive me...........if you don,t break them in right you,ll not be a happy camper...........................................8 )

Update on slow starts: Been a couple of days since charging, no riding either. Went to move cart, just barely started off then picked up speed good. Thing is it use to start fast & all of a sudden it's really slow to move. Seems like it's starting off in 2nd gear (if you know what I mean). It started one day last week while on vacation. Did it with the old batteries & new batteries.

sounds to me like you don't have the batteries wired up right/missed one in the loop, get your meter and check and make sure you got 48volts

It started messing up before I had batteries changed.
