Stock 1985 new tires/wheels question
I have a stock 1985 club car that is way overdue for new tires. It currently has the 18X8.8-8 tires and wheels (with tubes in to keep them inflated.) Initially I had thought about a lift kit with bigger tires/wheels but there were so many posts that said bigger tires means you need to increase the power. It looks to me like most of those power booster ideas are for newer carts, so now I am back to my original idea of just tires. Sooo, without a lift kit, what size tires can I get away with? There is no pavement where I live, it's either a gravel road or through the woods. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks. |
