2001 48v CC won't go after long ride
First Time Posting. I have a 2001 CC 48v villager. The cart runs great but after a long ride when I let off the trottle it just dies. Seems like it heats up. I turn the key off and let it set for a few seconds and then it will go again. When it takes off after this happens it takes off really hard like it goes straight to high speed. Any ideas on where to start? Thanks in advance!!

Re: 2001 48v CC won't go after long ride
I have checked all the basics. The only thing I have not done is take all the wires loose from controller and solenoid and clean them. I was wondering if the solenoid could get stuck either open or closed under continuous use? The cart did this same thing prior to putting new batteries in it. I hope this is helpful. It does not do it all the time just sporadically.

I was going to say to try and jump the solenoid or tap on it to see if makes a diff...This can happen from time to time

I will try next time and tap on solenoid to see if it makes a diff. It starts back working very quickly so its kinda hard to do any trouble shooting. Thanks!!!!!

I just wanted to let everyone know that the cart has not acted up since I posted this thread. I think it was just the solenoid sticking. Thanks for the insite and I am sure that I will be back for more.
