Tire & model year Questions
Hi
Being that l will be buying a used CC Precident from an Authorized CC dealer l might be able to select the tire size as long as l pay for it. I will be buying a 4 seater and the spec's note the tire size 18x8.5. 8. Is this the size l should go with? I will be using it to drive around a community and not a golf course. Also should l upgrade the wheels at the dealer or and after market source? And the last question l will be looking to buy a 2008.5 or newer model, so should l press to pick a later model year or are they all the same after 2008.5. Plus what are the big differences in the model years 2009/2010 compared to the 2008.5? It seems that the bodies will be new as well as the tires. The price difference's can't be that much more between the years. If l can pick up a demo l might go for it if it has the right options and price is reasonable. Thanks Alan Thanks |

Since you won't be lifting it I would put a set of 10" wheels on it. It really dresses it up nicley... |

Erict,
Was there a particular reason why you opted not going 12" wheel? |

Re: Tire & model year Questions
I just bought a 2009. One difference the dealer told me is on the 2008 and down you can use a magnet on the motor to increase speed. He said the only way to achieve this on a 2009 and up is to change the computer speed code to 4. A speed magnet on a newer car doesn't work.
