Default Club Car Precident i2 excel acceleration and speed

Hello everybody. I just bought a Club Car precident i2 excel. I Have read some things on this cart and it says the speed can be adjusted from 5-19 mph in 0.1 mph increments. It also says you can adjust the acceleration from conservative to aggressive. I was just wondering how to do this. As of now it is the same speed as my 2006 Ezgo (as fast as my lab runs) and both have lifts and 23" tires and are stock otherwise. It is set on the conservative acceleration setting. Do I need to take it to a CC dealer or can I adjust it in my garage? Thank you for your time!

You must take it to a dealer. All of this must be changed with an IQDM Programmer.

Yes, but only if your controller is equipped with the newest version of the software. What year is the vehicle? All 08 Excel and most 09s have the old software and you can't disable the "Excel Braking" feature. The high speed magnet will only work out for you if you're able to turn this feature off.

David : I am not following you on the software. Sorry.

If I have access to a controller programer tool, can I somehow update the software, so my PH 08 will accept the magnets?

The controller software is programmed by Curtis when the controller is built. The Club Car IQDM machine is not capable of changing the software, only the settings.

The old version does not have a setting called "Excel Braking"

The new one does.
