Been through the many posts on good and bad batteries, but no one has mentioned the Trojan T890s? Does anyone have an opinion on them? Seems like the numbers (specs) reflect better than the 875s, no?

Yes T-890's have a little thicker plates, longer run time than the T-875's. Trojan has declined in quality though. Check out Crown batteries. Probably the best battery currently. Crown has two 8 volters, CR-165 (165 amp hours) and the CR-190 (190 amp hours). Very good batteries. I just bought a set of CR-190's.

I was watching a show called brain games where they explained that most of us are more concerned that we're missing out on something when searching for a deal on something and that's why less choices is often better!

With that in mind.......

I was noticing the specs on the Sams club battery matches the US-8vgc. Is it likely that they come from the same factory?
