Throttle problem?
Some times when pushing throttle solinoid clicks cart moves slow and then takes off foward and reverse. All batteries check out and are good under a load test. I have Scotty B's Meter installed so I'm really vigilant about voltage. I thought I solved this with a new solinoid but it pops up every once in a while. I changed the 3 micro switches on my forward and reverse switch because a tab broke off my reverse buzzer. I changed one of my cables because I thought the end might be bad. I have welding cables on my cart. I cleaned the forward and reverse switch with WD 40 and cleaned the throttle connectors. I took a reading of the potentiometer and it seems off. With pedal up it's reading 6.95 pressed 3.51. Bad potentiometer???
If I have to change should I go with a curtis PB-6 and do I have to reverse wires? I have a 95 CC 48 volt Curtis 1204-410 serial 9546-473979 I hope someone can lead me in the right direction even if it needs a new controler Thanks |
