setting 4 on vurtis controller

After replacing Curtis controller how hard is it to have speed setting changed?

What would the benefits be? Any cons?

What should it cost to do this?

I bet if you look you could find a used one that already has the setting. I have one sitting in my cabinet, just have not gotten around to selling it.

I was getting ready to order one from Golf cart Outfitters in SC.
they have a Curtis 1502-5201 set to #4 new for 175.00 shipped.

I have found others refurbished with speeds 1-3 for 150.00

I was wondering what the pro's and con's were.

Which controller do you have?

Mine is Curtis 1510A-5251

That deal you have sounds pretty good though, the one for $175.

Yes it does. On Ebay same thing is 199.00 shipped

I missed the sale He was selling them for 125.00 plus 10.00 s/h
