Default xrt 810 won't run...

hello all,

this is my first time posting on here, but i really need some help.
i've been working on an electric club car xrt 810 for work, dealing with the wiring and all, and everything has been going fine for a while but currently the cart wont run. i have returned all the wiring back to the factory standards (reversing all my hard work), and i'm not sure what the problem is. i've run most all of the tests in the manual, and from what i can tell, everything is fine with respect to the batteries, the MCOR, and the solenoid. i'm currently not getting any voltage to the motor when i tested the a1 and
a2 posts on it. i think there may be a problem with the OBC or the controller. has anyone had these problems or know where i'm going wrong.

and just as a side question, what exactly is a sonic weld. i see them on the wiring diagram, but have no clue what i'm looking for on the cart. (this may be a newb question, but u dont learn unless you ask.)

Do you get a solenoid click?

I'm not sure which electrical system the xrt810 has on it. What year is it, does it have a f/r toggle switch or handle?

the xrt has a f/r toggle switch (not a handle)

i do get it to click on when i press the accelerator, and usually after it clicked on it would start running as it should, but now it just clicks and then does nothing. (i'm assuming that click is the solenoid, but my knowledge of golf carts is limited).

i even tried replacing the solenoid. for work we have three identical xrt's, so i took the other two solenoids off and switched them in to see if the solenoid was the problem, but they gave me the same results as the original.

On the bottom of your car near the passenger side: There is a black box, it has two wire groups running into it with quick plugs. Make sure they are both in there good.

If it's not that, my next GUESS would be speed controller.

yeh, i've checked the black box and all its wires. that was my first thought on what was messing up, but its not that. i havent checked the speed controller yet, but i will check that today.

actually, i'm starting to again think its the solenoid. i was running some tests, and i thought i was hearing the solenoid clicking on, but then i an a test with the controller box, and i heard the solenoid click, and it was a different click than i had heard from before. i dont know if thats something else clicking, or if that is the solenoid clicking and i'm just hearing it different.

Just because the solenoid clicks doesn't mean it is working. Use a voltmeter to check it.

hey guys, i finally figured out what was wrong with the cart.
i started replacing things from this cart with parts on another one of the working carts we have at work, and turns out its the Motor Speed Controller.
I'm not totally sure whats wrong with it, but i know that it is the culprit in why the cart wouldnt go. does anybody know what that means? and anyone know where to find a new motor controller on the internet....i posted another thread asking about that. the specs for the controller are on that thread. thanks for the help though guys.
