Pluging golfcart
Do you plug in golfcart when your not useing it.or wait til night time. It's a 2006 ds. My bother inlaw says it's not good to plug in all the time. He runs his until the light comes on. Most people say you shouldn't go below 50%. I'm I over doing it pluging It in all the time.

Re: Pluging golfcart
if hes letting light come on thats to long.........if your using cart it dosn,t hurt to plug it in over night however once you do plug cart in its very important to leave it go until its done.............do you have to charge it every night? not if you only put a few miles on it no..............

Re: Pluging golfcart
Tom is correct. Make sure you let the charger complete and do it's job. A shallow discharge then plugging it in won't do any harm to the batteries.

Re: Pluging golfcart
Thanks What I was doing When I take It out for a drive then I get back to the site I plug it in. Sometimes It's less than a half hour most times a little longer. Then at night I plug It In at night. It shuts off when done.I'm just don't want it to die or go too low.Because we drive a lot a night with the lights on.

Re: Pluging golfcart
Spend a few bucks and invest in a state of charge meter from ScottyB's Carts Unlimited. He is a sponsor of this site. Best upgrade i made since new batteries.
