Default Battery Hold downs

Just wondering if anyone had a Club Car (mine is a 2000 DS not sure if it matters or not) that could share some photos of the battery hold-downs? They weren't on there when I bought the cart as there were no batteries installed. I am not sure how they are supposed to be installed? Pictures would be a huge help! Thanks in advance

Also, I was noticing that there was a discrepancy between the size of the hold downs that I have and the ones that are available online to purchase? Don't know if this matters that much or not?

your hold downs are just strait rods that one end is almost S shaped you have to have it on an angle and if you look at battery trays you,ll see small hole in center of each tray a battery sits in ...............once you feed bottom end in hole the top end is threaded about an inch for the plastic top part of hold down and a washer and nut...............they do make 2 different lenths and if i remember you should need the longer ones........................

Thanks for the reply shadowman! What I didn't understand is exactly where the plastic tops go that connect to the rods? Do they go between each set of 2 batteries so that 3 total are needed? Not sure if this is the way they are installed or not and I have never seen one that has them so it is a bit hard to visualize where they go exactly. I do understand the premise of the s-rod but there are quite a few holes in the battery trays so I don't know where they go?

If you still need a picture, try looking up your cart on Craig's list. Most listings include a picture of the battery compartment......
