Squeak from bushings?
1999 CC, after installing new front spring with bushings and replacing rear bushings the cart has developed a squeak. Lug nuts tight, nothing rubbing that I have found yet. Is there a lube that is compatable with the bushings I could use just to rule them out as the source of the squeak?

Re: Squeak from bushings?
If the bushings are rubber, you are out of luck,If they are Urethane,You can get some silicone-grease or similar and lube the sleeves. It also could be the leafs themselves squeaking.Try a shot of white-lithium on the springs, between the leafs and see if the squeak goes away.If so,you can eithe install squeak-pads,spring-liners,or grease the leafs(messy)Also make sure the tips of the leafs are ground on a light angle,if they are rough or cut square, they will squeak.Hope this helps.

It was the leaf spring. The squeak is gone.

I use automotive grease. It lasts a long time.
