Rocker Switch - 2 Tabs
Hello,
I've been looking for a rocker switch that only has two connectors on the back (tabs) with a light so I can use it on the cart and get it light up when lit. Anyone found these? If not do you know how to trick it into working properly? Thanks Tom |

Re: Rocker Switch - 2 Tabs
I think I see what I'm missing here with the three blades. I saw a diagram.
Can someone correct me if I'm wrong. Two of the tabs on a three tab switch interrupt the positive side of the battery. The accessory negative (in my case lights), and the battery negative both go on the ground side of the switch. Is that correct? Thanks Tom |

Re: Rocker Switch - 2 Tabs
Here is the diagram I found. I'm assuming I can connect both up to the ground blade with one of those doubler things. Correct?
Thanks Tom |

Re: Rocker Switch - 2 Tabs
Almost all lighted switches have 3-terminals.Fused-Batt + (Always use a fuse between the power-source and the switch), Accessory or Load (your item to be controlled by the switch),and Ground(for the light in the switch). The only ones without the ground that I've seen have a ground-tab on the mount-face so that it grounds to the panel its' mounted to.
