Default Dashboard to Battery Compartment Wire

Hello,

Can someone explain to me how to get a wire from the battery compartment over the dashboard in a 2008.5 Precedent?

Is there a tube or something I can run a fish tape through or something to that affect?

Thanks

Tom

Is this one so easy no one wants to answer it or so hard that I can't do it?

I would go underneath and back up. I would secure the wire to the frame or to another wire harness using a zip tie. I have never heard of or seen a conduit. What are you needing the wire for? BTW, if you open the dash there should be an unused wire that was prewired for a battery meter, but maybe that could be used for something else

I've taken up the floor mat and used the channel on the passenger side that contains the factory wires running to the dash, then just re-install the floor mat.

For my horn wires I ran them under the floor on the drivers side. There is a plastic x type built into the underside of the body. I drilled a 1/4 inch hole at the center of the x for each one until I got back to the rear of the battery pack, then went up. About six or so holes. Ran wires through that. It makes it like a conduit that holds the wires up from sagging down. There is a picture of that with the wires on one of these posts, but I do not know where that post is?

Thanks guys. Can someone explain to me how to pull up the floor mat? I don't have the cart in front of me so I can't see it. I won't be with the cart until this weekend.

I'm trying to run a wire back to the negative terminal so I can use a lighted switch on the dashboard instead of the push pull style switch. This is for the headlight.

Thanks

Two screws on each side of the floorboard that hold down the plastic side trim. Remove those and pull the mat out one side at a time. You have to pull it up and over the Accelerator/brake assembly and out of the cart. You'll see once you get started, not bad at all except for the dirty hands. Good time to clean under it while it's out as well.

Thanks a lot Bass Hawk. I'm currently working on putting in a new switch for the headlights with a lighted switch but next on the list is a cigarette lighter so I can charge my cell phone. So I'll need to know how to get in there.

Thanks again.
