Default mirco switch ?

Ok so I ordered 5 new mirco switch's and this is what was sent Question

the New switch has 2 terminals and old has 1 terminal

Can i use theses if so what terminal do I use?

If you have a volt meter, check the continuity between the single (power in) and the two side terminals. Set your volt meter to OHMS... it'll buzz at you when you have good continuity but I believe both of the terminals on the side will show cont. when the switch is closed. The sponsors on here sell 2 terminal switches for about $3-4. Hope this helps.

Not to tell you wrong but if you use one terminal, cut the other off with wire cutters.

That one will work, if it doesn't just switch terminals. One terminal is NC (normally closed ) and the other terminal NO (normally open)....of coarse it could be a double but unlikely. Your original should have on there NC, NO and maybe a C, Com or common. Same with new. Most likely exactly like you had it wired originally.

I did check it with meter got it correct it was the top one that triggers the switch
