Take the switch out and carry it to a lock smith and they will rekey it for you ...

ANY key switch will work. It is 2 terminal switch, if you get one with 3 or 5 terminals you will just use the 2 terminals which provide the necessary on/off function.
A generic $10 key switch is available at most auto parts stores.

I saw a post a while back that suggested using a Harley Davidson switch. Mine has a barrel type key and I would think thats hard to pick. No matter what switch you use, I would think if a bad guy can get to the back of it, it could be jumpered. I also heard talk of puttin in a hidden toggle switch somewhere on the cart.

Here is the barrel type key switch that some use.

you can also install a small kill switch, i have a toggle switch on one of my carts in a very hard to get to location it kills everything..............matter of fact there are times i jump on the cart and bam nothing ........it takes me a few seconds for it to sink in hey dummy flip the switch.........even with an uncommon keyswitch its just not that hard to get around it..........................

aint gonna be a thief thats got half a brain picking your key switch. All he has to do is pull the plastic back and touch the 2 wires together,,,,,,, done. I would also lean toward a kill type switch. maybe hide it in the glove box kinda hidden. it would just go "inline" with one of the ignition key switch wires

I also added a kill switch behind my dash that locks. My concern was that since my golf course has a fleet of Precedents that anyone could "accidentally" hop on my cart and take off while I was eating. Let's be honest if they want it they'll get it.....but now it will take a lot more work.

That's not gonna happen! (spoken from a locksmith)
The standard CC key switch has only 1 tumbler, and is molded all together!
Replacing the existing key switch with anything aftermarket will be cheaper and easier!
