Popping noise in Canopy
I'm having a popping sound coming from my canopy somewhere at the top where it is secured to the upright supports. This is a custom built Club Car cart with a new canopy and supports.
This popping sound occurs as the cart twists as it moves along. Any suggestions on how to determine exactly where this popping sound is coming from or what the problem generally is? I didn't want to do a lot of work trying to issolate the problem if there is a simple solution like maybe just spraying with WD-40 or will I need to disassimble and place insulating material between the canopy and the supports or between the canopy and the frame it is bolted to? Re: Popping noise in Canopy
My top squeeked at the spot yours is popping. I removed the bolts and cut a piece of inner-tube to form a gasket around the support bracket. Put it back together and good to go. Have a rider put pressure on the spot you think its popping from and see if it quits or changes.
