Default A few more headlight questions...

Thanks for the info from the last question I posted, Im still a little confused, Im not as confused but still dont feel ready to do this.

Please see pictures and questions below

1st Pic

This pic shows a blue wire, in the instructions it says to connect this to the battery... in my second pic I have a blue wire with 2 connections and a fuse, I do not see in the instructions where this goes. I assume its part of the blue wire in the 1st pic but not sure which one to connect where....

2nd Pic ( blue fuse harness )

3rd Pic I assume the 1st battery in line is battery # 1 and the 3rd battery ( 2nd to last of the 4 batteries ) is # 3 ? Kinda stupid but want to clarify..

This is battery # 1 it has a blue connector , is this used for the lights ? I will now post a pic of battery # 3 which also has a blue connector and also shows the black wire coming from the carts harness or the computer area, the instructions show what to connect to this wire so thats pretty clear but Im still not sure which blue wire gets what..

Sorry for a million questions, I cant really afford to have someone else do this for me. It says to check the lights with a voltage meter before turning on, Where do you check this and what should it read ?

Last but not least can someone reccomend a voltage meter, I looked at a few in the local hardware store but once again became confused .... totally new to carts and even newer to electric of any kind...

Thanks

There's a real good instructional video on YouTube (Valley Carts I think) that shows how to connect the blue fuse wire. One end connects to the battery and the other end to another blue wire under the computer cover.

My cart does not have a computer cover, those are the older models, this is why Im hesitant to start this.

I dont see why the directions are so inconclusive...

I will look at the video on You Tube but I think its for the older cart..

I thought your cart was already prewired for lights, it looks like it to me as you already have recepticals on the wire harness and the pos and neg terminals on the bats. Have you looked behind the dash to see if there are pre wires for a switch?

Not yet, i will do so tomorrow and photograph the wires behind there.

Still not sure which battery terminal I connect to since there are 2 connectors and then there is the one coming from the OBC.

I am waiting on a new headlight, they shipped me a cracked one so I dont want to start this until I have all the parts.

Where do I test the watts before turning on , and what should it read ?

Thanks

Ok well I watched the valley cart video and it turns out that after 2007 the carts were no longer pre wired ( lucky me ).. so this video was not much help.

Does anyone know about wiring a 2008.5 precedent ??

Hook the blue wire with the fuse on it to battery #3 unless you've got a DC converter that converts 48 volts to 12 volts. Everything else is just plug and play.

Thanks. After I hook the blue wire with fuse to bat #3 do I hook the other end of that
Wire to the blue wire on the bucket harness.

Then the black wire to the wire coming out of the carts main harness next to battery # 3 ?

Thanks again.
