Just got it out of the shop.
Took my 09 CC precedent factory 4 seater in for some service prior to the warranty running out. While there, I had them set the speed code up to 4. Prior to that I tried the magnet trick just for grins. Couldn't really tell any difference in overall speed (about 13 mph). My speed is now at 19 mph by the GPS. Now I'm wondering, if I should take out the so called high speed magnet and but back in the orginal magnet, or just leave everything alone. Seems like I read somewhere that having both was not an issue. Should have just gone for the reset to 4 in the beginning. Has anyone else done this same thing, and if so what did you do.
Thanks Don C |

Re: Just got it out of the shop.
I have an 09 and my dealer told me tat the magnet won't work on it, only the speed code. He did say that it wouldn't hurt it either.
