Default 2001 club car 48 Not Charging.

Just installed new batteries and are 85% charged. I connected the charger and no charging. How do I diagnose the problem? I am new to the wrenching on an electric toy.

Check wiring and make sure all wires are hooked back up.

. . . did charger work prior to installing new batteries? If so, double/triple check that you did not leave a wire dangling somewhere in the battery area . . .
