I just purchased a Green Villager 2 LSV and I too want to at least achieve 30 on flat ground. Can anybody elaborate on some modifications? very interested in a little more speed and also a rear flip seat.

In my opinion, if you could go 30mph on the flat, it would be dangerous. The suspension feels different on a Villager LSV than a regular DS; more nimble and it could just be the DOT rated tires. I get nervous when I hit 28mph down a steep hill. It doesn't feel stable to me. Maybe your 2011 is different than my 2010. Be safe and be happy you can go 25mph on the flat.

That's my problem, I can't get 25mph only about 22mph.
I've had my dealer look at but no change. I have 12" low profile tires.
Should I have different type of tires????

I had a LSV and didn't like the speed or ride, that is what drove me to convert DS to street legal and apply for VIN, ride and drive much is much better.

Maybe I should try swapping the 6-ply bias-ply tires from the Carryall onto the LSV Villager 2+2 to compare are rides. I'm beginning to think the radials are a major contributor to the squirrely ride.
