Default Charger Voltage

What should my Voltage be when my charger is plugged in and charging?

It is like 36 volts when I first plug it up and gradually goes up from there but not more than a few volts?

A 36v pack will go as high as as 44v but anything above 39 is charging. What is the pack voltage 12 hours after the charger is finished?

If your charger has an ammeter, what does it start at? Should be about 15-20amps if the charger is working properly and your batteries are good! It will decrease as they charge. The final charge rate should be low ( 2-5amps ).

the Amp meter on charger is not working,, I am looking into that problem too.

Sounds like your charger isn't working! You could have one or more weak batteries too. Are you sure the ammeter is not working, or it just doesn't move? Let us know what type of charger you have and then we can go from there. Also measure the battery pack voltage at the charger receptacle on the cart. It should read exactly what your battery pack reads. Here's a chart that will help you:
