New to Club car, question on black box and maintenance..
Hello all,
I am new to the electric golf carts. I am coming from a gas 2 cycle. I took a long break on golf carts for a while. Recently, I acquired a 87 Club Car. I am curious about what the little black box is mounted near the solenoids. It has Hobbs electric on it. It has 1 wire going to one of the solenoids and the other goes where the charger plugs in the front. One of the tips on this box is broken off and that's why I was wandering. I am awaiting on getting the batteries fixed right now and am trying to check things out. Also, is there no type of fuse box on the cart? The lady I got the cart from said it might need a fuse replaced as well. I see the one in the glass that sits atop of where the charger plugs in. It doesn't look broken though. i looked all over and don't have a manual, so I have been scoping around. Does anybody have any pointers of things I should check out or maintenance on while I wait for batteries? thanks for any help, Chad |
