Default 07 Precedent Battery Cable Upgrade

Hey Guys,
With my charger needing some repair, I figured it would be the time to upgrade my battery cables also. I have a couple questions though.....

2007 Club Car Precedent 4-12v
  • Will 2 Gauge be sufficient (stock electronics)?
  • Do I replace only the cables going from battery to battery and
  • There is a red + wire that goes to a post with a yellow and smaller red wire terminated together. Does this get replaced?
  • There is also a black - wire that goes to a post with 2 smaller black wires. Does this get replaced?
  • If these get replaced I will have to crimp my own ends?
  • Finally, do the green and white wires that go to the motor get replaced?

As you can see, my concern is that I will have to create my own terminal ends. I don't see any kits that include these other wires. Any help is appreciated.

George

All 6 gauge wires get replaced with 2 gauge wires if you want to do it correctly.

Hmmmm..... There seems to be 4 or 5 ring terminals that have 2 or more wires connected to them. I guess I would have to cut them and put new ring terminals on them? I definately don't have a crimper that big and I don't think cutting the wires that would be replaced and leaving the old ring terminals would be safe?

If you don't feel comfortable dont do it. Buy a kit. Contact Scottyb on this forum. He makes great cables
