Default 2008 precedent is slow

had a 2008 precedent come in last week, goes slow in fowards. goes normal speed in reverse. i did the speed sensor test. rolled it and listened for the beep and got nothing. replaced the sensor and i still have the same issue. is there anything else that will cause these symptoms. pack voltage was 51 volts and stays consistant when driving never drops below 48.4 when i got the cart in.. i also checked for broken wires and didnt see any. Thanks Birdleg

What kind of motor is it? A GE or an ADC? ADC motors are black with a top-hat shaped speed sensor. GE motors are dark grey with a flat snap in style sensor.

You've got to pull the end cap off of the motor and slowlly work it off with a wide flathead screwdriver. Be careful installing the new one. Hit it with a small hammer around the edge of the steel base LIGHTLY around in circles until you get it secured. Do not hit the magnet itself. Then reassemble the motor.
