Looking to upgrade 04 Precedent
I have a 04 48v Precedent with 4 12v Batteries and I have done all the cosmetic upgrades adding separate 12v battery for accessories and changed basically all stock body parts now I'm looking to improve the torque and speed but need to keep the cost down as much as possible so what would everyone suggest I look at doing, motor, controller, the cart is used mostly at the campgrounds but will also be used around the neighborhood in off season..I appreciate all input and remember I need to keep costs down as I'm off work right now because I was diagnosed with stage 3 Melanoma Cancer and am under going treatment and also just recovered from my 5th bowel resection earlier this year for my Crohns disease.I really enjoy working on my cart as it is sort of a therapy for me as it takes my mind away from everything going on in my life right now..
Thanks again in advance for everyone's help.. |

Re: Looking to upgrade 04 Precedent
What kind of speed are you running now? JUst wondering what sped code the controller is currently set to. I've got a Precedent with stock controller and motor, 23" tires and 6" lift that runs 23 mph with the speed code 4 setting.
