Default anologe vs bar meter

i want to get a battery meter for my 48v cc, and i was wandering is the anolouge meters more accurate then the led bar ones? my new meter has to be curricular because there is a circle hole on my dash were one used to be. and i dont want to spend to much.
i was looking at either this one

I find the analogue more reliable
Watch it when the motor is under load.
When it goes into the red under load it is time to recharge, regardless of where it is when you stop.

A simple digital gauge is better then either of those IMO.

Can't go wrong with ScottyB's battery meter. I have had one for a couple of months now and couldn't be happier.
