Default Too much charging

There are days when my golf cart gets used a half a dozen times a day. Is it ok to plug it in between uses? Even if it is only plugged in for an hour and doesn't reach a full charge?

Absolutely fine to charge. Batteries like to be charged. I wouldn't leave the charger plugged in if you are going to be out of town for months. It could possibly suck the power out of the batteries in the event of a major power failure.

while i don,t have anything negitive to say about charging your cart like that i,m a firm beleiver in once you plug it in to charge you should let it charge till its done, when you do that charge it an hour here a few hours there you just never know if your batteries are full or close to full............just my 02.......................

Most people won't wait until its fully charged to take off. Lead acid batteries don't develop a memory and need NOT be fully discharged before recharging.

Even Trojan battery states

2. Batteries should be charged after each period of use.
This guide can be found on trojans site. http://www.trojanbattery.com/Battery.../Charging.aspx

like i said its just my opinion that once you start you should let it run its corse, i agree with you most folks just want to charge it long enough to get back on and ride again but i have pulled many carts back to camp with people scratching their head man i just charged it for 3 hours and they want to get 2 hours riding time out of it........ain,t gonna happen...........i do hear what your saying though...................................
