Yes I did check each. I saw several places that sell replacement battery cable sets that come with 5 cables. That willbe enough to connect the 6 batteries to each other. The options are 4ga or 6ga. If I go to 4ga, do I also need to upgrade the cables to and from the motor?

Until you get full voltage/amperage to the motor you really have done nothing. Cables between batteries is the start but old smaller cables to motor becomes choke point.

Yea 4 gauge. You could do it all yourself but for the price, your sure to have a good crimp, which is important as good cables

Was just reading your original post.make sure all batteries are equal in charge. If one or more are lower than the rest your charger will continue to run.you should never smell sulfer.per the guy at battery giant.from my understanding the batteries that are at full charge are being cooked.

When you say equal in charge, how much of a variance is ok? 3/10 of a volt?

I haven't been able to find any places that sell kits with all of the cables. The ones that I've seen only have the 5 pack of battery cables. Does anyone know a place that sells a full kit? Or do I need to buy cable that I cut to size?

Many of the sponsors of this site sell full cable kits.
