I was looking at the wrong diagram... Got dark before I could mess with the electrical but I was able to try pressing the pedal numerous times in forward and reverse... Not quite sure if it is the micro switch or the solenoid... Based on all the evidence without being able to jack it up yet it makes sense that it has one solenoid because my buddies cart had two and he could go in reverse not forward so we changed it out.. Simple fix... I'll find out tomorrow if that's the case... Thank you stevegrmich, scottyb, and shadowman for all the advice thus far... A lot of the carts on here are amazing and I am slowly convincing the wife to let me do more to ours since we use it whenever we don't have to leave the island...

you can tell the difference between the solenoid or micr clicking......the micro will be faint you can just hear it while the solenoid will be a strong beefy click............................

As you have a series cart there are only 2 practical options to getting more speed. Either fit a 36v motor or an upgraded 48v motor. Series carts require more voltage to get more speed. Higher amp controllers will give you more torque but not speed. Bigger tires will give you more speed but less torque.
