Default 97 cc ds 48v no drive

Hello all, been on here a while just never posted. I have a 1997 Club car DS 48v with 2010 US8vgc-xc Batts. The other day i drove the cart about 4 miles with no issues (cart only does 15 mph which is another topic), parked the cart with the key off and the lights off 4 hours later it would not move at all. Tried looking over the cart for a loose wire or blown fuse and nothing. The lights work and are not dim but the cart will not drive. I am going to have a buddy that is an electrician chase the wires with me today. Anything else i should be considering? The only other symptom to note is that in the last week it has hesitated a couple times when i hit the gas but ran fine after that. Thank you for the replys in advance.

. . . not sure if your cart has a Vglide (pie slice shaped black box between batteries on driver's side), but if it does, check wires at that spot also . . .

You might have a bad micro switch... try pressing the gas about 10 times and see if it wants to work once or twice again? Have your buddy do a continuity test on all the MS switches..... they get intermittent before they fail all together... there is one inside the Vglide as well as the ones on the F&R.

. . . depends on what type of forward/reverse switch you have . . . the rocker switch type is the right side diagram . . . the lever style switch is on the left side . . .

if it has 2 solenoids you have a reagan cart with the rockerswitch F&R.........all you do is jump the large post on the master solenoid, thats the one that has the pos cable from #1 battery going to it......jack rear up....get a peice of 6 gage cable or a wrench or something and lay it across both large terminals on solenoid.......your gonna see some sparkage so be ready, once you have it jumped turn key on put in gear and and press pedal see if cart runs.......................................
