Not sure what gauge cables I have right now have to look into it.... But all I should need is motor and controller..... Not sure what the diode or resistor do as I am not too electrical savvy I just read they go onto the solenoid... Bokeasmowl and lgbarne thanks for the info... As long as I can get a little bit more speed and change out the guide ring I believe is worn out I will be happy... Definitely changing to Trojan batts when I have to replace the US batts.

I understand from knowledgeable folks here that for 8V batts, Trojan is recommended and for 12V batts, US Batt is recommended. I have 12V US batts in my precedent and they seem to work great, though I have no experience with anything else. Since you have a DS, assume you have the 6-8V batt setup.

Lgbarne Yes I have the 6 8 volt US batteries... They are ok and the longevity is not bad... I bought the cart with them in there... However I am planning to get the Trojans when I replace them.
