Do I need to reset OBC for new controller and wires?
I am going to be installing a DCX 500 amp alltrax controller with and HD solenoid and 2 gauge wires, all in a package from ScottyB. Will I need to reset the OBC after installing these upgrades? Thanks.

Re: Do I need to reset OBC for new controller and wires?
You will remove all power from the system when installing this stuff, so naturally your OBC will be reset when it looses power.

No. There is no need to reset the OBC when installing new batteries, controller, or cables.
Remember to flip the tow switch off first and on last when working on this cart. |
