It does but could it be that the ALLTRAX is set up to read these 5 wires differently than what the stock controller reads them? Or is it that my stock controller and your stock controller are the exact same model so the harnesses should be the same? But that still doesnt explain why my MCOR wires are different colors and in different orders that yours.

Have you tried alltrax with old solenoid and old controller with new solenoid to see if you can further troubleshoot your new solenoid snd new controller. If either combo worked could help shed some light.

The Curtis controller you indicated is the exact one I replaced.

I would not do anything until you get into the Alltrax to program it so you can monitor the throttle rate when you press the pedal.

That way if you are getting throttle response you have another problem, and if you are not getting any I think there is an incompatibility issue.

If you wanted you could pop in the old solenoid or old controller just to make sure the solenoid is not suspect, like txbonds said.

So I am not sure if this will help you are not, but using the instructions below for the OLDer style MCOR, you should be able to figure out if the wires on your MCOR are doing the same thing.

When you open this file go down to MCOR testing without IQDM..

When did I have the diode in backwards? Because everytime I had the diode in I made sure the silver band was on the same side of the solenoid as the battery pack wire. The only thing I switched around several times was the light blue and dark blue w/white stripe wires.

Call Alltrax tech support and let them walk you through the proper steps. That is going to be the quickest way to getting your issue resolved.

One thing I had not mentioned here is that my old MCOR worked perfectly with the Curtis Controller, but the Alltrax gave me very jerky starts. Cheapjeep2 was helpful by convincing me a new MCOR would fix it, and it did.

But what I think is that Alltrax likes a strong signal while Curtis has greater sensitivity and can read weaker signals. This is a known problem with Alltrax.

Here are my two suggestions....

1. Call Alltrax...

2. You have the same colors of wires coming out of your unique MCOR that come out of what we consider the normal or older MCORs... Use the test I posted, and connect across the appropriately colored wires acording to the test. If the results are the same as in the text then you know it's not the way that MCOR you have is wired, if the results are different then you know your MCOR is wiring is configured differently and you'll still need to call Alltrax to figure out how to handle.

If the wiring is different, Curtis would have had to make changes to the controller, and had they done that, I would assume they would have changed the model number, how else would they be able to differentiate from others?

But since the model number is identical to mine wouldn't it be logical that the wiring is the same as well?

The diode is initially installed with the Band toward the terminal with the negative wire...(blue w/ white stripe)
